Mary was born and raised in Medford Massachusetts. At age 22, Mary assisted her parents with a move to California and loved the weather and environment and decided to stay.

In order to provide for the family, Mary led a successful career in Information Technology however, her primary focus was being a mother to her daughter. After her divorce, Mary realized that there were no resources available to her in terms of raising a child as a single parent.

In trying to provide a stable environment and relying solely on herself and her daughter, they managed together to build a strong bond and provided comfort and support for each other.

After raising her daughter, Mary felt compelled to share her story and provide advice and guidance to single parents starting out on this challenging journey. She also wanted to share stories and advice from adult children of divorce. They have so much to offer based on their experiences and they provide advice to help you raise your children.

The author hopes that her experience as well as the experience of children of divorce will be a helpful and a supportive guide to assist you in maneuvering the challenges of single parenting.
